From romantic poetry to contemporary novel: works on literature of E.P. Khanzhina

The artivle gives a review of E.P. Khanzhina’s works on romantic poetry (mostly American) and contemporary novel written in English. The special traits of metodoligical approach of the researcher are analysed, as well as the problems emphasized by E.P. Khanzhina in her works (such as national tradition and the dialogue of cultures, poetics of genre and genre’s polyphony, narrative structure and picturesqueness, female prose and poetry ect.). The conclusion is made about the significance of E.P. Khanzhina’s research work and discoveries.
