Certain aspects of investigative actions in criminal cases related to non-payment of wages

In the article, the author examines the specifics of the production of individual investigative actions in the process of investigating non-payment of wages. The observance of human and civil rights and freedoms in labor relations, their protection and the legal responsibility of employers for violations of workers' rights are one of the most pressing problems for countries with market economies, especially due to the crisis phenomena inherent in it. Based on the results of the analysis of judicial and investigative practice in cases of the studied category, organizational and tactical features of the investigative inspection, seizure, and search were revealed. The main tasks of the initial stage of the investigation are the detection, inspection, seizure and preservation of the employer's title documents, its internal documentation, bank documents and documents on cash and settlement services, documents of state registration authorities, tax and licensing authorities, inspection materials. The author offers a number of recommendations aimed at improving the quality of the investigation of non-payment of wages.
