The concept of access to justice in Russian criminal procedure

The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of access to justice in Russian criminal proceedings, its understanding by scientists of procedure, the definition of actual and legal criteria of the moment of the right of access to justice in criminal proceedings, as well as the circle of subjects of this right. The principles ensuring the right of access to justice are analyzed. As a result of the study the concept of access to justice is proposed, which is necessary to be enshrined in the criminal procedure law.
