The survey deals with the problems of diagnostics and treatment of edematous breast cancer, which is characterized by high grade of malignancy, early and rapid lymphogenic and hematogenic metastases, unsatisfactory prognosis. The modern data about biological peculiarities of that tumor, its clinical course and effectiveness of various treatment methods are discussed.
