The Comparison of special features of the power display in powerlifters of both higher and lower qualification was the purpose of the investigation. Methods used: tensordynamometry while doing power triathlon exercises by powerlifters candidate -masters of sport - the first and the third categories. Results: the power display shown by powerlifters having the qualification of candidate -masters of sport - the first and the third categories, differs greatly. It takes athletes of the third category less time to do all power triathlon exercises, at the same time they achieve larger speed qualities of an apparatus movement. This tendency is typical for movements connected both with the apparatus lowering (in squatting and press in the lying on the bench position), and also with lifting it (standing up squatting, pressing itself in the press in the lying on the bench position, pulling). The case is that power in all power triathlon exercises is displayed by the third category powerlifters in the vividly expressed decreasing regime which is quite different from the press in the lying on the bench position and pulling shown by qualified athletes. As a whole, the competitive moving activity of the third category powerlifters is more expressed than that shown by the speed-power character of athletes of higher qualification. All this allows to consider the direction of power development perspective in the training time of the third-second categories level athletes when the process is strengthened by the more expressed power character together with increasing efforts in key moving phases according to dynamogramme of qualified athletes.
