The article presents the findings of a sociological study titled “Students’ Attitudes Toward Persons with Disabilities and Health Impairments”, aimed at identifying negative sociocultural barriers associated with the communicative practices of students without disabilities and those with disabilities or health impairments. The authors come to the conclusion that the vast majority of respondents from various specialties recognize the right of people with disabilities to equal opportunities with other citizens. Students overall demonstrate a benevolent and humane attitude toward peers with health limitations, expressing readiness to assist them in cases of rights violations or in everyday necessities. Notwithstanding this, the research revealed that awareness among students regarding the challenges faced by learners with disabilities remains low. Based on the survey results, recommendations were developed for harmonizing relations among diverse student groups.
