Reflection of the evolution of ethno-cultural consciousness at the beginning of the 21st century in the German dictionary of neologisms

The article shows that the 2007 German Dictionary of Neologisms is a unique reflection of the German ethno-cultural consciousness at the lexical level. The Dictionary pays special attention to the political aspects of events that have a direct impact on the economic life of an ethnic group. The concepts represented in the Dictionary «economic/political figure», «business person», «sport», «medicine, pharmacy and health», «transport and travel» are not static, they evolve by interacting with each other.
