The article is devoted to the analysis of how the Chinese food culture is reflected in food-related proverbs. The relevance of the study is due to the strengthening of intercultural understanding in various fields, including gastronomy. The article offers examples of typical Chinese food proverbs and provides comments on these proverbs.
