The reflection of national worldview through russian proverbs with the component-numeral two

The article is devoted to analysis of Russian proverbs with the component-numeral two. The numbers are important structural elements of mythopoeic model of the world; also it plays an important role in formation of the language world picture. The aim of the research is analysis of the symbolic meaning of the component-numeral two; it gives an opportunity to emphasize national peculiarity of numerical model of the world. Much attention is given to interaction between the component two and others cultural meaningful components and influence of the component two on semantics of units. The paper discusses the Russian proverbs in linguocultural aspect, this make it possible to reveal features of national mentality and language as a phenomenon of the culture.
