Liability of police officers for exceeding their powers related to the use of physical force, special means and firearms

This scientific article assesses the problem of abuse of authority by police officers when using physical force, firearms and special means, analyzes legislative acts and judicial practice in order to study the norms of criminal law related to the illegal use of physical measures. This article reflects one of the main problems of criminal liability of employees who have gone beyond the law when using a particular means of physical influence, as well as situations of compliance with the external situation and the degree of danger to the type and nature of the applied measures of influence.
