The article deals with the concept of 'linguocultural type' within a contemporary framework. Utilizing classifications from sociologists and linguists, we have developed an algorithm to identify linguocultural types in media. We have examined and analyzed the linguocultural types documented in the broadcasts of regional television in the Republic of Crimea. Comparative characteristics of linguocultural types prevalent in mass media from November2021 to November 2022 are presented. A correlation between historical developments and the range of linguocultural types in information space of the Republic of Crimea has been established. The information discourse in the Republicof Crimea serves as the research object, while the linguistic units employed by media figures constitute the research subject. The objective of the research is to conduct a linguistic analysis of the linguistic features of linguocultural types in informational texts, adopting an anthropocentric perspective. The material for our study comprises over 200 informative and analytical texts from the broadcasts aired in 2021-2022, featured in the weekly digest “Vesti Krym.Events of the Week”.
