Monuments of the Great Patriotic War in the structure of the values of today's youth

The article considers the attitude of modern youth to the monuments devoted to the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The category “monument” is investigated as a social phenomenon in the structure of values of modern youth. The structural and structurally functional sociological aspect of a “monument” highlights studying of such methodological categories as “historical consciousness”, “memory”, “youth policy”, “patriotism”, “national consciousness”.
