Parallel implementation of the fem for boundary-value problem for the shallow water equations

The autors carry out the efficiency research of two parallel realizations of the algorithm of the numerical solution of a boundary-value problem for the shallow water equations solved with the help of the MPI library for C. They set out the results of the numerical experiments on the model grid and on the unstructured grid for the Sea of Okhotsk water area. The authors provide the comparative outputs of the computations speedup in relation to the number of processes, the mode of communication realization, the mode of decomposing of the calculating area.
