Parametric analysis of the Van der Pol oscillator

The fundamentals of the qualitative analysis of the Van der Pol dynamical system are given. Software for computer simulation of the corresponding second-order differential equation in the Wolfram Mathematica environment is developed. The fractal and correlation characteristics of the generated time series are calculated. The classification of the stationary point of the system is carried out depending on the control parameter that determines its stability. The results of computer simulation of the Van der Pol oscillator for a wide range of values of the control parameter are presented.
