In the article the term representation in individual mind is investigated. The results of associative experiment and psychological scaling method are analyzed. Terms of the Internet and music theory and solfeggio have been used as stimuli. Psychological characteristics of polysemy and neutrality of a term as a lexical component of speech activity of future specialists and non-specialists are distinguished.
