Pathogenetic significance of the disturbance of сcytokine balance in persons having chronic nonspecific pulmonary diseases

Study data of сytokine imbalance in patients with chronic bronchitis (n=22) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (n=88) depending on clinical version of the disease course are represented in the article. Special features of immune disturbances with various forms of disease are revealed. Interrelation between severity of clinical manifestations, degree of ventilation disorders on one side and disturbances of сytokine status in patients with chronic unspecific diseases of lungs on the other is established. Dependence of immune response on the level of T-helper cytokines of the first or the second type is shown.
