Patriotic education in foreign language classes at a non-linguistic university

Teaching a foreign language is closely connected with fostering love for the motherland, culture, native language, helps to realize the history of one’s country. The article discusses the educational possibilities of foreign language classes in a non- linguistic university. The problem is topical because of the importance of the upbringing component in the educational process. The author describes the role of the disciplines «Foreign Language GED», «Foreign Language», «Foreign Language in professional activity» in the formation students` morality, human values, patriotism, reveals one of the most important tasks of the educational process in teaching a foreign language at a non-language university - moral education of students.
