Pedagogical implementation of the concept of “social and cultural activity”

The article presents a theoretical and methodological analysis of social and cultural activity as a set of educational, educational, artistic and creative practices implemented in the activities of state and non-state cultural organizations, as well as a specialized field of scientific research and training. The task of pedagogical implementation of the concept of “social and cultural activity”, i.e. the validity of its pedagogical interpretation, which is actualized by the inclusion of this issue in the new pedagogical scientific specialty “5.8.1 - General Pedagogy. History of pedagogy and education”. At the same time, it is shown that it is necessary to attribute and justify, firstly, the pedagogical nature of social and cultural activity as a practice (ontological aspect), and, secondly, the scientific status of research on social and cultural activity in its connection with pedagogical science (epistemological aspect). This article argues the conclusion that the generic essence of social and cultural activity is pedagogical activity, and its type is a set of specially organized educational practices in the field of culture. Social and cultural activity, being a special case of general pedagogical activity, concentrates all its features - purposeful nature, focus on educational tasks, availability of professional personnel and their specialized educational functionality, etc. The specifics of the pedagogy of social and cultural activity, revealing the dialectic of the general and special, is determined by the fact that it is based on a complex of pedagogical technologies that have organizational and managerial, informational and educational, recreational and recreational, entertainment and hedonistic, animation, rehabilitation functional purpose. This provides a variety of pedagogical approaches and techniques implemented in the practice of modern cultural organizations.
