This article reveals the process of cognitive activity development in 6-7 years children and shows the role of pedagogical support in this process. The paper reviews the stages of this support (motivational, search, conversion stages). The different strategies of pedagogical support and their inclusion in games, exercises and specially created situations are of great interest. The material is of practical importance that allows educators to use creative tasks, organize experiments, encourage children to ask questions and solve the problems. These problems are multifaceted.
