Pedagogical aspects of quality increase of academic staff cross-cultural socialization

The authors studied the pedagogical aspects of cross-cultural socialization of academic staff on the basis of assumptions of culturological, system, synergetic, process and all-age approaches. Megafactors, mesafactors, microfactors and social agents of cross-cultural socialization were characterized; their motivational, cognitive, personal, behavioral features were revealed. The criteria of quality of cross-cultural socialization formation were defined. They are: orientation of the personality on cross-cultural socialization, stability of the purpose of cross-cultural socialization; integrity of knowledge, values and behavior; steady social position of the academic staff in the international professional community; academic and professional mobility. Pedagogical and administrative factors of influence on socialization of the academic staff in the main educational process and in the system of continuing professional development of the academic staff were revealed. The assumption of quality improvement of cross-cultural socialization using the combination of formal, informal and non-formal education of the academic staff was proved.
