Pedagogical Foundations of the System for Preparing Students for Research Activities as Part of a Team

The article reveals contradictions in the existing practice of preparing students for research activities in technical universities. The article defi nes the tasks of the pedagogical system of preparing for research activities as part of a research team, the conditions for their solution in the learning process, and the scientifi c principles of pedagogical design. The contextual and activity- based approaches are identifi ed as the methodological basis for design. The expected learning outcome is specifi ed: developing technical university graduates’ readiness for research activities as a condition for their successful work in research teams and creating solutions for the real sector of the economy. The article presents the educational program of the discipline “Methodology of organizing research activities” implemented in the master’s degree program.
