Pedagogical principles of forming a value attitude towards military service among modern university students

Young people today are characterized by unstable patriotic sentiments and have a weakly expressed desire to serve in the Russian army. Therefore, it is important to strengthen educational work at a university, its focus on developing a value-based attitude towards military service among students of a modern university. On this basis, there is a need to determine the principles that serve as a guide to improving educational work at a university.The purpose of the study is to describe the pedagogical principles of developing a value attitude towards military service among students of a modern university. The methods of work are the analysis of theoretical research, data synthesis, conceptualization of the author’s experience. As the results of the study, we will name the pedagogical principles that determine the process of forming a value attitude towards military service among modern university students: the principle of personal involvement in the history of the country, the principle of involvement in patriotic volunteering, the principle of critical assessment of information about military personnel, the principle of improving the quality of physical training, the principle of increasing morale.
