The main groups of pedagogical conditions to implement competence focused assessment of applied qualifications are discussed. The tools to assess professional competences are analyzed, the choice of most efficient assessments is proved, their specifics and peculiarities are shown. Approaches to assessment of general competences as a subject of competence focused assessment are presented.
