The issue of forming the moral culture of university students in gender-role relations remains relevant. Time forces us to take a fresh look at traditional subjects, especially in the field of foreign language specialization. The aspect of gender reconstruction of the content of academic disciplines requires compliance with the broader trend of humanization of higher education. This article is devoted to describing the local results of program research at the faculty on the formation of a gender-role culture focused on morality among students. The need to create an optional course on gender education in a programmatic and subject sense is described, and some results of the content-procedural level and research are shown. Possible ways of integrating elective courses with academic disciplines of the social and humanitarian cycle are proposed.
