The article reveals the pedagogical potential of the Buryat ethnic game Shagay naadan when teaching account under conditions of bilingualism on the mathematics lessons in primary school. By case study of few games (Khoryoo barilga, Mori urildaan) the article examines the process of accounting skills formation among primary school students. Special attention is paid to the importance of deliberate separation of languages used by students in their verbal and cogitative activity, prevention of terminological mixing.
