Pedagogical university as a quality education provider in a region

The article stresses on the possibility of regarding a provincial pedagogical university potential in the context of a regional academic and research area. It proves that scientific and methodological cooperation between a pedagogical higher education institution and a high school, joint research coordination in solving educational problems, integrity, provided by an academic and research space structure and functions, socioeconomical tendencies and pedagogical factors alike significantly contribute to an efficient development of a region's socio-economic state.
