Pedagogical mastery and performing traditions in choreographic education

The article describes the portrait of the teacher-choreographer, honored worker of culture of the Russian Federation, associate professor of the department of choreographic art of East Siberian State Institute of Culture A.I. Karzhaubaeva who celebrated her 80th birthday. Tracing her creative and pedagogical path, the author notes that the continuity in the system of art education is determined by the established practice of multilevel training in choreographic education, peculiarities of the traditions of the choreographer's performing mastery, and largely depend on the personality of the teacher and the tutoring role.
