Pedagogical communication as a key component of pedagogical activity

The article explores the problem of pedagogical communication, the main component of pedagogical activity, which forms an important system of relationships that contributes to the effectiveness of teaching and upbringing. Analysis of a significant amount of research allows us to consider pedagogical communication as a system of interaction between teachers and students, the content, methods, and means of which contribute to the exchange of information, mutual understanding of personalities, and the provision of educational influence. In this regard, the communicative, interactive, and perceptual components of pedagogical communication are analyzed; conditions for the effective transmission of information are considered, factors influencing the effectiveness of implementing the perceptual function and managing the activities of students and wards are discussed, and examples illustrating the components of pedagogical communication are presented.
