Nowadays technology and knowledge are constantly updated in educational environment. To keep abreast of the latest trends and requirements of the educational system it is important to improve your skills. University lecturers actively participate in the process of continuous education which helps them become more qualified and effective in their work, search for new approaches in teaching, and improve the quality of education. One of the areas of continuous education of university lecturers is their preparation for work in international groups of students. One of the possible forms of advanced training for university lecturers is pedagogical support provided in the system of continuing education. There is extensive research on the concept of pedagogical support in education. However, the content of the concept of “pedagogical support for the development of readiness of university lecturers to work in international groups of students” has not been studied enough. The author aims to define the concept of “pedagogical support for the development of readiness of university lecturers to work in international groups of students”. To achieve the goal, the author used the analysis of scientific literature and electronic resources on the problem of pedagogical support for students, analysis of generic and specific characteristics of groups of concepts (“pedagogical support”, “development”, “readiness”, “readiness development”, “university lecturers’ readiness”, “foreign students”, “international groups of students”). The novelty of this study is the definition of the concept of “pedagogical support for the development of readiness of university lecturers to work in international groups of students.”
