Personality pedagogy in terms of modern trends in life-long education

The article discusses the problems, which representatives of personality pedagogy face during digitalization of education and popularization of life-long education. The author analyzes the data on the development of different spheres of a personality of students within new trends in education and concludes that the use of new teaching and upbringing tools develops only some mental areas and their components. The integral development of an individual remains a problem, the sphere of self-regulation and the existential sphere are especially lagging behind in their development. The article states the relevance of the conceptual position of personality pedagogy on the need to educate children and teens as it may allow them to meaningfully take the position of self-determination and self-realization in life.
