"Communicating of the sense" as a scientific mythologeme of modern translation studies

The article is devoted to the critical analysis of the notion «communicating of the sense» that is broadly used in the theory and practice of translation. The notion «scientific mythologeme» has been defined. According to the asserted point of view in the process of translation the sense is rather generated than transfered on the basis of original comprehension.
