The article deals with the genre of the touristic discourse - excursion as an object of interpreting. The author reveals the concept and essence of such communicative phenomena as an excursion, lists special characteristics of guide speech and guide speech behaviour. In this article key tasks and problems of an interpreter by interpreting of an excursion are also denoted.
