The transfer of Russian mink farming to a new type of feeding

Based on the feeding rations of young mink from «Gagarin Zveroplemkhoz» and «Savvatievo Zveroplemzavod» during the period of intensive growth and fur formation from 2001 to 2023, a comparative analysis of the level of basic nutrients in diets with different concentrations of metabolic energy per 100 g was carried out. As a result of the analysis, three types of feeding were identified according to the level of OE concentration: low-concentrated (NC) - 100-135 kcal; medium (SC) - 136-169 kcal and highly concentrated (HC) - 170-190 kcal and the ratio of basic nutrients was determined depending on the type of feeding. It was found that the final live weight of young mink depends on the levels of OE and nutrients in the feed, but at the same time the mink can consume only a certain amount of feed. The highest results in live weight of animals on November 1 were obtained with the VK type of feeding - 3.6 kg males and 2.0 kg females, because with this type of feeding, 100 g of feed contained the maximum possible amount of OE and nutrients.
