Translation of the article: “Unity and diversity in the orthodox tradition” by professor archpriest Dumitru Staniloae

This article was published in the Romanian theological journal “Ortodoxia” in 1970. The article discusses issues related to various views of the Holy Tradition of the Church of some contemporary Protestant and Orthodox theologians. The principles of keeping, renovation and interpretation of the Holy Tradition are also analyzed. At the same time, Archpriest Dumitru Stăniloae presents patristic views on this issue, focusing on key aspects of the Orthodox understanding of the Holy Tradition in the life of the Church.
