Translation of tourist slogans in the context of territorial branding

This article is devoted to the analysis of tourist slogans in the context of territorial branding based on the material of the French language. Such concepts as "territory brand", "tourist destination" and "tourist slogan" are considered and analyzed. The main distinctive features characteristic of slogans are revealed. Examples of Russian-speaking and French-speaking slogans are given, where the main linguistic means affecting attractiveness and popularity are identified.
