Translation activity of Sagyn Namatbaev

The article is devoted to the issue of research and translation activities of Sagyn Namatbaev on the example of the works of V. M. Shukshin. Excellent knowledge of the Russian language allowed the translator to translate a number of works by the Russian writer V. M. Shukshin into the Kyrgyz language. In particular, he wrote translations of his works such as “Spouses”, “Conversations under a clear moon”, “Space, the nervous system and piece of lard”, “Wolves”, “Woe”, “Two Letters”, “Stepka”, “Alyosha Beskonvoyny” and others. During the study, we interpreted the translations of S. Namatbaev and also compared the text of the translation with the original. We also discuss translation texts in the article.
