The article analyzes performativity in the context of the 20th century. In this article, we define performative practices as a factor influencing creative perception in modern sociocultural reality. In addition, performance art affects communication, the way of interacting with the viewer, and from this we rightfully enter the dialogic function of performance. Despite the fact that the actor in performative communication is, as it were, impersonal, he carries a certain idea, subsequently defining himself not only as an actor actor, but also as a full fledged figure subject in a performative space. Performance is accessible and quite easy to implement in the creative field, which is why every day we watch someone perform performative acts. But are they all endowed with an artistic component? Performance is closely connected with society and with events taking place in the world. As a rule, the artist acts as the main link in performative communication, but he does not carry his personality through the context of the work. He invites the viewer to feel like an artist and, thanks to this, enters the social aspect in his work. For the reasons indicated, performative practices are a field of study that deserves special attention.
