Perfusion computed tomography in the differential diagnosis of focal lung pathology (based on the materials of methodological recommendations)

In order to determine the benign and malignant nature of focal lung pathology, we present recommendations for low-dose perfusion computed tomograph and interpretation of the data. An original technique for postprocessing analysis, producing reliable qualitative and quantitative indicators of blood flow in the area of interest is described. The recommendations are intended for doctors-radiologists in hospitals, dispensaries, outpatient clinics equipped with a multispiral computed tomograph with a unit for performing computer-based evaluation and a workstation for postprocessing of the data.
