Personalized tourist resource of the Republic of Abkhazia

At the present stage of human development in the context of globalization, the role of outstanding people is increasing in almost all spheres of life. They are most clearly manifested in such a sphere of the economy as tourism. Tourism in Abkhazia is the locomotive of the economy; it is one of its dynamically developing sectors. The Republic of Abkhazia has significant tourism potential. The cultural, historical and natural potential has been explored for many years. According to the results of a survey of tourists in Abkhazia, Tsulaya I.V., Kuchera M.O. (2012 -2019) it is known that this very potential is the goal of visiting more than 70% of the respondents. However, there are also such tourists whose goal is to visit friends and relatives in the Republic (7-8% of respondents). Because friends and relatives are the purpose of travel, which means that they are attractive for tourists, have certain properties, and we can define them as a personified tourist resource. The purpose of this publication is to show the importance of the Destination Person as a personified tourist resource. This research is currently the most important because it shows the degree of attractiveness of the Republic of Abkhazia as a tourist destination, where the slogan is "Apsny - the country of the soul." Tourists and travelers all over the world are attracted not only by natural and cultural-historical resources, but also by the spiritual need for communication and friendship with interesting people who are formed on vacation.
