Promising forensic techniques in the field of human biological identification: the human microbiome is a living trace

The article examines and analyzes modern forensic techniques in the field of biological identification of humans, forensic diagnostics, the most promising of which, according to the author, is the study of the human microbiome (microbiota), its microbiome signature. The article proposes the author's definition of the microbial profile of a person, which has a number of features that allow it to be used to solve forensic problems of identification (identification) of a person. In addition, in order to solve the problems of criminal proceedings in the field of crime detection and investigation, the author substantiates the possibility of implementing a program for microbiomic registration of various categories of persons (by analogy with genomic registration).
