Features of legal regulation and prospects for use of non-invasive prenatal test in Russia

The article analyses the advantages and disadvantages of non-invasive prenatal diagnostics technologies. Possibilities of non-invasive prenatal diagnosis are being investigated to replace traditional methods of invasive prenatal diagnosis. Problems have been identified that make it difficult to introduce these modern methods in Russia. The need to include non-invasive prenatal genetic screening in the compulsory health insurance system has been established.
