Prospects for technology education in the modern conditions of Mongolia and Russia

The trend of social development in the 21st century is globalization, sustainable development, and the increasing pace of information, technology, and science advancement. Information, knowledge, and technology are considered the main resources of the economy. Both international and domestic experience show that technological education plays a crucial role in the education system and directly influences the socio-economic development of society. The aim of this study is to examine and compare the experience of technological education in Mongolia and Russia. The analysis of technological training in Mongolia and Russia is expressed in the systematic use of a development model that includes modern production, future technologies, fundamental innovations, technical and constructive activities, and national traditions of the country. The content of technological education in Mongolia and Russia follows a common trend-focusing on fundamental innovative technologies, future achievements, the interconnection between technology and society, and technical and constructive activities.
