Prospects for the organization of international volunteer campuses for the preservation of cultural heritage on the basis of Russian museum-reserves

The article presents the results of the ascertaining stage of the study initiated by the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments in 2020 in order to determine the level of development of the volunteer community on the basis of Russian museum-reserves and the degree of readiness of cultural institutions to organize and conduct international volunteer campuses (camps) on their territory. The study actualizes the problem of the lack of consistency and structure in the activities of museum-reserves in the work with volunteer resources.
