Prospects for the development of cooperation in the area of digital technologies in the framework of the EAEU: political and legal aspects

In this article the problems of legal and strategic basis of cooperation between the EAEU member states in the area of development of digital technologies are investigated. The author substantiates that, despite the implementation of the regional digital agenda on a project basis, the scientific and technical cooperation in this area reflected in joint development of software and in production IT-equipment has not yet turned into related direction of integration. The article analyzes the existing legal, program and strategic frameworks for this cooperation and formulates proposals for their improvement in line with the legal model most acceptable for the EAEU.
