The article is devoted to the prospects for the development of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of digital financial assets and digital currencies. The article discusses the emerging rights associated with the changed legislation. It also considers: e-commerce, payment systems, laws, legal regulation of settlements, cryptocurrencies, emission, non-cash payments. The article describes the legal relationship of electronic money in the Russian Federation, legislative changes. Describes the change in the approach of government bodies to digital assets. The prospect of tax changes is considered. The issues of the Federal Law of 31.07.2020 N 259-FZ "On digital financial assets, digital currency and on amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation" are touched upon.
