First screening of the strains-antagonists from the collection of the biological methods laboratory in VNIIMK to fusariose pathogen on oil flax

There are stated data of the first screening of the strains- from the collection of the biological methods laboratory in VNIIMK antagonists to fusariose pathogen on oil flax Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht. emend. Shyd. et Hans. var. orthoceras (App. et Wr.) Bilai by the method of double cultures. We studied 24 strains of the fungus-antagonists, ten of them demonstrated the highest activity to F. oxysporum var. orthoceras on two nutrient medium (potato-sucrose agar and Rudakov's). Four strains of Trichoderma genus were highly active, displaying competitiveness for a nutrient medium and hyperparasitism. Colonization area of the medium with these strains accounted 67.2-77.7%, and a size of hyperparasitic zone - 19.1-26.6 sq. cm. The strains SM-1 Sordaria sp., Pv-3 Pénicillium verrucosum and Tk-1 Trichoderma koningii possessed the greatest competitive ability for feeding area; the colonization area was 72.6-90.3%.
