Youth songs in samara region as folk music tradition

Folk song art of Samara region is a unique cultural phenomenon in which many regional folk traditions are interwoven, each having its own unique style. The article displays the first research of song youth culture of Samara region in the system of traditional genres of folklore. It is the first time when the author has analyzed the song heritage of Samara region in terms of social folklore studies, has defined the genre system of youth folk songs, identified common characteristics in the semantics of the songs.
