Great Patriotic War songs in creative work of T.M. Akimova

This article considers Prof. T.M. Akimova's contribution in collecting the Great Patriotic War songs in Saratov and its region as well as their studying and popularisation among the public in general and students in particular. Also the author of this paper analyses the Great Patriotic War songs both as one of the issues in Prof. Akimova's research and the peculiarities of her style.
