The food behavior of black pied breed of cattle with the addition of fodder yeasts in their feeding

A scientific and economic experiment on highly productive cows of Black Pied breed on the collective farm "Plemzavod "Prigorodny" in Vologda Region. While monitoring animal ethology with the aim to reveal the influence of the yeasts I-Sac 1026 on the eating behavior, the time spent on standing, lying, eating, and chewing the cud during 24 hours have been taken into consideration. Using fodder yeasts I-Sac 1026 has had a positive effect on the nutritional activity. The cows in experimental groups had more positive indices in time expenditure for bulky feed consumption and for chewing the cud compared to the animals in the control groups
