The article considers the sport - swimming for all, which is a popular means of health improvement, versatile development, hardening, active recreation, professional and applied training. it is revealed that swimming is one of the most effective means of physical training of students, has a positive effect on the functions of the nervous and cardiovascular systems, and is also used as a means of prevention and treatment of various pathologies in posture, scoliosis, kyphosis. Methods and special physical exercises on water for the purpose of improving the body in free time are suggested. A survey was conducted, the results were presented, and recommendations were made in the conclusion.
